Our story

A story that begins in the northern lands of Peru

From Lambayeque, we have built a trajectory dedicated to connecting agricultural production with international markets, bringing quality legumes to different parts of the world.

2000

Foundation

Food Export Norte was founded in the city of Chiclayo, Lambayeque, with the vision of connecting the agriculture of northern Peru with international markets, promoting our legumes and dried lima beans.

2001

Start of Operations

We started our marketing and primary processing operations for our agricultural products, mainly legumes and lima beans, in the cities of Chepén, Chiclayo and Piura, in Peru.

2003

First export

We made our first export, with a shipment of 3 containers of dried stick beans to the Dominican Republic market, thus establishing the commercial and logistical bases at an international level.

2006

Product diversification

The agricultural export portfolio is being expanded with the incorporation of new agricultural products, strengthening the processes of quality control, traceability and safety.

2007

Process improvement

Food Export Norte consolidates its operational structure, optimizing the selection, packaging and export processes, which guarantees the continuity and reliability of the service for its international clients.

2008

International expansion

Based on our extensive experience in quality, traceability, and safety in the handling of legumes, we have successfully entered international markets with much higher demands.

2009

Consolidation

We consolidated the international presence of our agricultural products in markets such as Panama, the United States, Sweden, Portugal, Canada, the United Kingdom, Spain, Turkey, Israel, Japan, Colombia, and Guatemala.
